Project "SAY YES" (A Strategic Actions for Youth - A Program for Youth Employability and Skill Development / Strategic Activities for Youth - Youth Employment and Skills Development Program) was launched in 2018 As part of the EU Youth Initiative, which is being implemented In collaboration with World Vision Georgia and Armenia offices, Georgian Farmers' Association (GFA), Association "Anika", With the participation of Public Professional Educational institutions educational institutions and partner companies.
The aim of the project is to promote education and employment for young people in rural areas, for PWDs and PWDs and for people beyond the povery line.The project is implemented in 4 regions of Georgia: Samegrelo, Imereti, Samtskhe-Javakheti. Javakheti and Mtskheta-Mtianeti. The project is designed on the job WBL programs in agriculture and agro-tourism Direction. Accredited by DualiTeaching techniques created under the project, gardening-design modules were acredited under the project and on that in 2019 addmision was announced at Shota Meskhia Zugdidi State University and Ilia Tsinamdzgvrishvili Vocational School. Each dual training program created in the project is inclusive and implies special needs and requirements for disability Students. Project by Anika in the project target regions Awareness trainings on the subject of disability and the target were implemented In 4 vocational colleges in the regions: Shota Meskhia Zugdidi State University, Ilia Tsimamdzgvrishvili Public University College, College Iberia and College Mermisi. Training about promoting education of PWD in professional collages ws held for professional education teachers, administration and candidates for employement under the dual program.
In addition, 16 SKYE Clubs have been set up throughout Georgia as part of the project, including 1 inclusive club established in Mtskheta, in which People with disabilities are included with their peers. The project is unique as it takes into account all stages of implementation of Education and employment of young people with special needs.
