Welfare Program

 Association "Anika", with the support of World Jewish Relief, implements a welfare program for adolescents aged 13 to 18 years. The program aims to promote the involvement of adolescents in important and valuable daily, professional, educational, and social activities taking into account individual interests and needs.

Under the program, participants will develop the skills necessary for independent living and self-care and functional, social-communication, decision-making, personal and professional development. As a result, their quality of life and well-being will increase.

The project is designed for any interested teenager between the ages of 13 and 18 and creates an inclusive space for sharing experiences among peers.

 

The objectives of the program are:

Promoting engagement in daily activities by developing the skills needed for independent living;

Promoting engagement in age-appropriate productive activities through participation in formal and non-formal educational activities;

Promoting socialization through the sharing of experiences within an inclusive space, participation in social activities, and the development of social-communication skills;

Promoting involvement in recreational / leisure activities thorough research of one's own interests, planning and implementation of activities;

Promoting professional development planning through research of interests, identification of needs and strengths, gaining professional experience, and self-reflection on the process.
